We exist to be God’s hands and feet, caring for children with nowhere to turn, showing that God still cares. The number of high-risk children remains unchecked in this area. Known for its extreme poverty, violence and exploitation of children, the government does not have the adequate resources or infrastructure to identify and rescue them. There is no foster care system, the existing orphanages are few and at capacity, and adoption is difficult. Children have no escape and remain in high-risk situations, destined to work on the streets, perpetuating the cycle of poverty and abuse.
This cycle of sin needs to be broken, and only the power of Christ can do it! Investing in children is the wisest investment we can make. Every child we receive must be restored to health, have access to quality education, and be taught the skills to forge a productive future. Of primary importance, they must see through His servants that God is real and available to them, willing to hold them up.

Helping them realize their hope and their future. Here at the Davis Lar we have future missionaries, pastors, lawyers, mechanics, nurses- servants of every shape and size!
